Why Scoring Unfair?

  • "At ADC IBC your variation and contemporary scores are averaged with your Master class scores. You can have 3 judges give you similar class scores and then suddenly one gives you 20 points less. This affects your placement even if you do well in the competition. One can understand variations of scoring by 1-5 points but 10-15 pointe difference by one judge? Also the final totals are not always correct? I think there may be some manipulation of scores to assure a particular outcome. This is happening not only at Regionals but Finals."
