  • The AC never felt cool enough during the 3 weeks.
  • Some air conditioning was not working, but staff members got it fixed within 24 hours.

Best aspect

  • My daughter enjoyed her time all around. It was a great first away SI. She loved the Technique and Acting class the most.

Least liked about program

  • Daughter found out the day before that she needed tennis shoes for “Street Dance” the following day. She unfortunately didn’t pack any. We had to go purchase some that afternoon. Really not a big problem… just a little inconvenient.
  • My son was the only boy at his level.
  • There was no feedback for my dancer. She didn’t feel like she received many corrections and felt like it didn’t challenge her.
  • Too short
  • A lot of the kids attending knew the teachers and were not very disciplined or respectful. A lot of class time was spent dealing with unruly behaviors such as dancers refusing to take off their sweatpants during ballet class.
  • I didn’t like that only certain levels got partnering often, and others didn’t.
  • little individual corrections from the teachers and strict dorms

Suggested changes to program

  • Never received any pictures. We were not allowed to take any during the parent viewing class. Would’ve loved to have had some sort of photo to look back on.

  • Every level should get partnering, and the less advanced groups should still have technique in the morning
  • smaller levels and allowing ppl in each others dorms

  • Positive. My daughter felt very comfortable and really liked the teachers.
  • Everyone was friendly, and that was a very positive culture.

  • Very good. My daughter had a great time and will considering going back for the non junior SI next year.
