  • It’s at the youth hostel that had many other international guests staying there.
  • There wasn't any supervision.
  • It’s in a really nice hostel with other groups staying there

Best aspect

  • The collaborative atmosphere
  • Liked learning Dutch National rep and loved being in Amsterdam!!! And loved being with people who loved ballet!!!
  • The amount of partnering experience.
  • Having Dutch National teachers teach you and exposure to the school.

Least liked about program

  • nothing
  • Her class was the only class that was not taught by director although he did observe.
  • The transportation to and from the studios. You had to pay extra and it was public transport.
  • Too short, Junior 1 did not dance on pointe for final performance
  • Level was too low.

Suggested changes to program

  • Because of the rotation of classes, there were inconsistencies in how many of each classes each level got….
  • Extend it by a week. It was too short.
  • More pointe

  • They only offered year round to 2 men from the program. No women were offered spots her year
