General Comments

Overall recommendation:

Definitely NotAbsolutely

Best aspect:

DD liked the classes in general. The instructors give good corrections, and give attention equally to year-round and SI only students

Least liked about program:

Ballroom isn’t DD’s favorite

Suggested changes to program:

More partnering

Culture of program:

A great smaller SI with solid classical training. Attracts a lot of YAGP darlings, but overall the vibe is friendly and not super competitive.

Other comments:

DD felt this program was appropriate for ages 12+, but there were some younger ones in attendance. I think the hours are a bit long for kids under 12 years. Former ECC students who are now company members frequently join in the classes during the SI and during my daughter’s time in residency with the company. In addition to Ava Arbuckle, students who are now in trainee/second company spots at ABT, SFB, and OKCB popped in for classes. It is great to be in the room with so much talent.
