We got a lot of individual attention since it was a smaller group of people.
They seemed to favor their own students.
Leveling overall was pretty fair, but it definitely felt like it was slightly biased toward putting some of their own students in the highest level when they were close to the same level of those in the second.
intense, but a strong sense of community
As a child who had only trained about 6 hours a week the year before (before training at more of a pre-professional level) and also continued attending evening classes at my own studio afterward, it was definitely a lot for my first intensive (and I lost motivation throughout the program); however, I learned a lot, and it was a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a better grasp on the Vaganova method and to learn from great teachers.
