General Comments

Overall recommendation

Definitely Not
3
Absolutely

Best aspect

  • Seeing how advanced other students were.
  • Great teachers, easy access via public transportation, impressive show considering how little time they had to work on it
  • Variety of Guest teachers and live music for all ballet classes

Least liked about program

  • Not diverse, students that attend year round did not socialize with SI students.
  • Two locations so it was sometimes confusing to alternate between them. The Studio Maestro location has no windows.
  • my dancer loves this program

Suggested changes to program

  • There was no orientation. I think they should also have a “get to know you” for each class.
  • Every class could be at MMAC if possible in order for the students to have more of a community feel. A place for the students to eat would be great, including the sale of healthy lunches and snacks.
  • adding additional variations classes and more strengths a pbt classes

Culture of program

  • Clique-y, but students are very focused
  • Friendly, professional, focused and relaxed.
  • nurturing, approachable, friendly, supportive

Other comments

  • Great administrator.
  • My child opted to become a year round student after attending the SI, because they loved it so much.
  • the communication between staff is unparalleled, they know each and every student & what they are working on / concerns, they come to every class prepared to meet students where they are and genuinely help them met their goals
