there are two options staying in a hostel or an apartment. The fees for the apartment are up to the landlord. the apartments can be quite far from the ballet building.
Old run down, hot and stuffy, extremely lax. No supervision whatsoever
The dorms were great but definitely no rules, food was amazing

Absolutely
Best aspect
fun, you can choose your extra classes,
Exposure to Bournonville technique, sensible training, safe location, great experience
Wonderful program all around.
Offering bournonville tech
Kind staff and amazing studios
Copenhagen
The teachers
The location!
The different teachers from all around the world, exposure to different dance styles/technique, the new people you get to meet, the food.
Least liked about program
the technique style changes every week

Nothing
Lack or supervision, no organized activities, no personalization in classes, teachers barely get to know you
Saturday as a full day is too much. Advanced dancers and boys that need to lift need a break. Six days for three weeks was a little bit much.
no air conditioning in studio
2 hour pas classes, all day Saturday classes
Nothing, it was all wonderful.
Suggested changes to program
an option to train in Borneville technique for all 3 weeks
Dedicated program housing to be available for dancers that need it
Nothing
Better housing and supervision, better organization with pas class (partner size not taken into consideration- just a free for all), need name tags so teachers get to know names/ dancers
lots of attendees would have preferred class sizes to be smaller for more individualized attention.

Bournonville tech is a plus
lovely
positive

Friendly, welcoming and hard working.
Other comments
Highly recommend
Not very organized, very delayed with info. Paid for housing days before starting.
The lunches were amazing, the year round kids were welcoming and sweet, the international students were talented and kind. The guest teachers gave wonderful corrections and were really great with the kids.
